The hard work of peer reviewers should be recognized and celebrated. Sharing the hours of work that go into a published research article and acknowledging the researchers doing that work shines a light on the research process and helps build trust in peer review.
That’s why, since 2015, we’ve partnered with Publons (part of Clarivate), to recognize the work of peer reviewers for Wiley journals. After growing our partnership for four years, we celebrated the milestone of 1,000,000 review records from Wiley journals on Publons in July 2019. Now, just over one year later, we’ve already reached over 1,500,000 review records on Publons.
Publons helps researchers easily track and verify their peer review records so they can be recognized for their work, including the option to download a Publons CV to add to funding and promotion applications. More than 1,050 Wiley journals have integrated their electronic editorial offices with Publons, streamlining the process for reviewers to add reviews, and over 280,000 individual Wiley reviewers are using Publons to record their contributions.
