Mapúa University, a well-known specialized institution in the areas of architectural and engineering fields in Philippines, saw great potential in enhancing its students’ achievement through using learning management system (LMS). As Philippines’ biggest engineering school, with at least 15 undergraduate and 18 graduate engineering programs, it is committed to continuously improve the quality of its education and learning experience of its students.
Wiley partnered with the Mathematics Department in July 2012 to encourage and facilitate digital teaching and learning of Differential Equations using LMS, as the teachers felt the need to use other teaching methodologies and techniques which are more responsive to the needs of the times of the students.
