Introducing Research Exchange, Our New Submission Platform

We hear regularly from authors that submitting a manuscript is a major pain point in the publishing process. It takes valuable time, and much of it involves copying and pasting pieces of the files they’re submitting. That’s why we’ve created a new, smarter, simpler submission platform for authors—Research Exchange (ReX). Research Exchange aims to reduce the work and time that goes into submission and make the process an easier and happier one. ReX plugs in to a journal’s ScholarOne Manuscripts site so your editorial and peer review workflows can remain unchanged.

Watch the video below to learn about the new platform:

You can try ReX for yourself by uploading a manuscript to our test site: https://rex-uat.resxchange.com/journal/usertest. This is a generic test site—migrating journals can configure ReX to their specific submission requirements.

ReX is currently live for over 30 Wiley journals, with more journals being added. Authors submit exclusively through the new platform, and their manuscripts export seamlessly to each journal’s ScholarOne site for check-in and peer review. Later iterations of the platform will include support for Editorial Manager. Learn more here and check out our additional resources for editors here.

Interested in using Research Exchange for your journal? We’re currently migrating additional Wiley journals to the platform that meet specific criteria, including currently using ScholarOne Manuscripts and a Wiley Managing Editor. Reach out to your Journal Publishing Manager to register your interest and learn how you can get your journal ready for ReX.
