OA policies are ultimately a good thing. They help us to navigate the transition to open access, which in turn enables better transparency, accessibility, and openness of research. That said, it can be a bit difficult to get your head around them. We want to serve our communities in the best way possible, which includes helping our authors to better understand OA policies and ensuring we give them maximum choice in terms of publication venues.
