Special Care in Dentistry is the official journal of the Special Care Dentistry Association. It is the only journal published in North America devoted to improving oral health in people with special needs. The designation of the patient with special needs is not limited to hospitalized, disabled or older individuals, but includes all patients with special needs for whom oral health and oral health care are complicated by physical, emotional, financial and/or access factors.
