With over ten years' experience in Java technologies and over four years' experience at Symbian, the lead author Roy Ben Hayun now works for Sun Microsystems as a systems architect in the Engineering Services group, which leads the development, marketing and productizing of Java ME CLDC and CDC on different platforms.

About the Author
Roy Ben Hayun, Sun Microsystems is a member of the ES group, which leads development, marketing and productizing of Java ME CLDC and CDC on different platforms. Prior to this he worked for Symbian for over 4 years, most of which was spent working in the Java group. Roy has authored a number of white papers about runtimes, as well as a Symbian Press booklet.

Sam Mason works as a Freelance Mobile Technology Consultant. After spending two years working on Java based multi-lingual video-on-demand system for Singtel and other APEC telecos, Sam has spent the last 4 years working with and learning about mobile phone technologies, picking up a number of Java certifications and completing a Masters of Information Technology in Autonomous Systems from UNSW.

Daniel Rocha is Senior Technology Expert for Forum Nokia with 10 years experience in application development, having worked with Web, Enterprise and Mobile software. Daniel is the author of the Java ME version of Nokia Wireless Presenter, a software application which allows control of your desktop applications using your mobile phone via Bluetooth.
