Dr Deutsch is a senior gastroenterologist who is Board-certified in both gastroenterology and oncology which is quite unusual. Since 2000, he has been based at the GI and Cancer Centre at St Marys Duluth Clinic, specialising in endoscopy in the cancer patient and Endoscopic Ultrasonography. Recent Work includes: EUS with Digital Anatomy Correlation, Bhutani, Deutsch PMPH 2010; Atlas of Endoscopic Ultrasonography , Bounds, Deutsch, Gress, Savides (Wiley, 2010); Editor, www.vhjoe.org; Editorial Review Board, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Matthew Banks specialises in endoscopic detection and treatment of early neoplasia, in particular Barrett's esophagus, early gastric cancer and bowel cancer. Dr Banks is also the Endoscopy Editor of The Faculty of Medicine 1000. He is an honorary consultant and trainer in endoscopy at the National Endoscopy training Centre, St Georges Hospital, London.
