About the Author
Dr. Simon Glendinning is Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Reading. He is the author of On Being With Others: Heidegger - Derrida - Wittgenstein (1998) and the General Editor of The Edinburgh Encyclopedia of Continental Philosophy (1999). He has written articles on perception, aesthetics, animal existence and various metaphilosophical issues. He is currently writing an introduction to twentieth century continental philosophy (2002).
