About the Author
Vasant Gowariker is Satish Diwan Distinguished Professor at ISRO and Chairman of The Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission for the Government of Maharashtra in India. In 1993, he was appointed by the Indian Government to have a Re-look at Fertilizers, where Dr. Gowariker began gathering knowledge for Fertilizer Encyclopedia. He has written several books and over 200 research publications in the field of science and technology. Dr. Gowariker works with an inter-disciplinary team of editors, including eminent chemists, plant pathologists, agriculturists, science writers, and management experts.
