About the Author

Gene Columbus was a Disney executive for more than three decades. As former manager of entertainment staffing for Walt Disney World, Gene hired thousands of entertainment and special events professionals. Later, he served as general manager for Disney's convention and resort entertainment, putting on large-scale special events and convention shows.
Today, Gene is an associate professor with the University of Central Florida's Conservatory Theatre, and acts as visiting professor at Temple University's Event Leadership Executive Certificate Program.
He is a member of the National Speaker's Association and is much sought after as a motivational speaker and trainer.
