Applied Strategic Planning: The Consultant’s Kit is a powerful aid to consultants engaged in implementing strategic planning with organizational-planning teams.

The Kit is based on the newly updated Applied Strategic Planning model, which reflects the authors’ extensive findings, and analysis of hundreds of “real-life” strategic planning experiences.

The consultant is provided wiith all of the necessary tools for working with the planning team: a clearly defined outline of the ASP process, activities to use with the team, a handout of the model, a poster, an introduction and an overview for team members, and two instruments with trainer’s materials.

Diversity Awareness Profile (DAP)

This 40-item instrument helps training participants become aware of their actions—both obvious and subtle—and how they affect people of different cultural, gender, or ethnic backgrounds.

This self-scoring instrument is designed to help individuals become more aware, and then modify their behavior to be more empowering and respectful to all people. Two pages of Trainer’s Notes are included with each order.

This instrument helps managers become aware of their actions or inactions that inhibit the success of others. It evaluates their behavior—as individual and as managers—and how it affects people of different cultural, gender, or ethnic backgrounds.

Most of the questions are based on those in the Diversity Awareness Profile. Several questions are relevant only to managers and do not appear in the DAP.

The DAP: Manager’s Version will help managers learn to be more sensiitive and proactive in eliminating biases and to manage more effectively. Two pages of Trainer’s Notes are included with each order.
