Collectively the editors have published nearly two hundred articles on immunology, immunopathology and vaccines in scientific journals. Dr Morrow has written or co-authored four books in the fields of immunology, autoimmunity and HIV; he has also been guest editor for a special edition of Biochim Biophys Acta. He is the Founding Member of the Vaccine Immunology Group. Dr Sheikh and Dr Morrow were guest authors for a special edition of Methods as well as a special issue of Vaccine. In addition, all three authors have recently co-authored an up-to-date review article outlining novel strategies for enhancing both conventional prophylactic vaccine efficacy, as well as the emerging field of therapeutic vaccines. Together all three editors have a wealth of experience in writing books and multi-author volumes and are very aware of the challenges in compiling such works.
