The model, developed in Milan, takes a wide focus, considering individual, family, social and cultural predisposition, mediation and precipitation factors. Case studies illustrate the process of using an experimental dialogue to discern the destructiveness of the parents and to ascertain treatment methods. This volume presents a model for family therapy as an alternative to the institutionalization of parents who abuse their children.
