Journal of Applied Research in Intellectual Disabilities (JARID) provides an important forum for the dissemination of ideas to promote valued lifestyles for people with intellectual disabilities.
We publish findings derived from original applied research in intellectual disabilities, to an international and multi-disciplinary readership. Theoretical papers (both quantitative and qualitative) are also published provided the implications for therapeutic action or enhancing quality of life are clear.
