Keiiti Aki was a Japanese-American professor of Geophysics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and then at the University of Southern California, seismologist, author and mentor. He and Paul G. Richards coauthored "Quantitative Seismology: theory and methods". Aki was born in Yokohama, Japan. Renata Dmowska is the editor of Relating Geophysical Structures and Processes: The Jeffreys Volume, published by Wiley.
