Microbe-metal interactions is a burgeoning field of environmental biogeochemistry. In recent years, many major innovations and discoveries have been made. The purpose of this volume is to provide an overview of the current state of the field as well as a prognosis for future directions. It covers a wide range of topics and approaches with contributions by both established leaders in the field as well as up and coming new investigators.
