About the Author

Rodney P. Anderson, Ph.D., teaches and conducts reasearch in microbiology and genetics at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. He is actively involved in microbiology education at the elementary, high school, and college level. He's married and has two children, who are both pursuing careers in nursing. He likes classic cars, golf, parachuting, and hiking with his kids.
