Renaissance Studies is an interdisciplinary journal offering insightful analyses of various facets of Renaissance history and culture.. Examining a range of topics such as art, architecture, history, literature, philosophy, politics, religion, and science from both European and global perspectives, we interpret the ‘Renaissance’ as both a time period (c. 14th – 17th century) and as an idea. Editions of important documents with appropriate contextualizing materials are welcome. The journal also includes comprehensive book reviews and detailed illustrations of notable exhibitions worldwide.
