Molecular Microbiology is a broad-scope microbiology journal covering basic to translational research, going to places most journals can’t reach.
We publish studies of all microbes, leading to a deeper understanding of the molecular principles underlying basic physiological processes, mechanisms, biological functions, and interactions. We encourage cross-disciplinary approaches including the use of computational analyses to inform experimental studies. The journal will thereby strengthen its service to the broader microbiology research community.
