Description
This book is the first step-by-step guide on getting selected and approved for OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP). Approval into VPP is OSHA's official recognition of companies with exemplary occupational safety and health programs. This book gives a business case study of why a company should participate in the VPP, demonstrates how companies benefit from this program, and details compliance with the program's four major elements and thirty-two sub-elements. The text also gives specific guidance using numerous examples of effective programs that meet VPP application requirements, and gives tips on preparing for a VPP site evaluation. This is the definitive go-to for safety and health professionals, safety and health consultants, and academics.
